Using all natural vegetable ingredients such as olive oil and coconut oil, scented with essential oils and coloured with natural herbs and spices, you can enjoy the sensual delights of creating your own delicious looking soaps which appear almost edible!

Due to the success of the April 9th work-shop we are putting on an extra one for beginners with Renate Bradbury from Camphill Community, Ballymoney, who has been teaching basket making for 25 years and assures us that we will go home with a hand-made basket made by very own selves! This workshop will run from 10am to 5pm. A small additional material costs applies.
May 14th 2011 - Keeping Hens & Poultry - With Fiona Crowe - Enrolling Now
Full day work-shop for beginners and seasoned hen-keepers alike. Keeping Hens in an urban environment also covered. Fiona Crowe from Highdell Organic Farm has been keeping poultry for nearly 40 years. Take a walk around the farm and get up close with our broad range of pure breed hens and even learn how handle a hen. A fun course with lots of practical advice.

Eleanor Sutherland is a traditional herbalist and homeopath. She has been growing herbs for 35 years and teaching for 15 years so she will give an in-depth full day workshop and take a walk around the farm identifying the seasonal wild foods and their properties and remedial qualities.
